As a Berlin-based interior architect with a deep passion for color and decorative elements, painting has become a natural and organic extension of my design practice. I have been painting for three decades—driven not by obligation but by an inner necessity. It is a process that liberates me. I simply have to paint.
My work explores themes such as urban solitude, the longing for closeness, and the bonds created through friendship. These narratives intertwine with my visual language: expansive fields of color, atmospheric moods, and deliberately crafted contrasts. I am drawn to the interplay of colors, to placing hues side by side in ways that intensify each other and dissolve the boundaries of form and object.
The result is a body of work that thinks both emotionally and spatially—shaped by my background in interior architecture and my enduring desire to tell stories through color.
